How to generate random numbers

  1. Enter the lowest and highest number you want (both are included).
  2. Set How many numbers to draw — up to 1,000.
  3. Tick No repeats for raffles and draws where each number can only come up once, and Sort to list them in order.
  4. Press Generate or Enter, then copy the results.

How it works

Numbers come from crypto.getRandomValues, the browser's cryptographically secure generator, using rejection sampling so every number in the range is exactly equally likely (no modulo bias). Unique draws work like pulling numbered tickets from a hat: each number drawn is removed before the next pick.

Frequently asked questions

Is this random number generator truly random?

It uses your device's cryptographically secure random source, which is unpredictable and unbiased — suitable for raffles, games, and classroom draws.

Can I generate negative numbers?

Yes. Any whole numbers work, for example a minimum of −50 and a maximum of 50.

Why can't I get 20 unique numbers between 1 and 10?

With No repeats on, you can draw at most as many numbers as exist in the range. Widen the range or allow repeats.
