How to embed a timer

  1. Set the minutes and seconds, an optional title, and a colour.
  2. Tick Start automatically if the countdown should begin as soon as the page loads; otherwise visitors press Start.
  3. Press Copy code and paste the <iframe> into your site's HTML, a WordPress “Custom HTML” block, a Google Site embed, or an LMS page.

Customising the URL

The widget reads simple URL parameters, so you can also edit the link by hand:

ParameterMeaningExample
tLength in secondst=600 (10 min)

Frequently asked questions

Is the embeddable timer free?

Yes, completely free with no account or API key. The widget shows a small “Online Timer” link in the corner.

Can I embed the timer in Notion or Google Sites?

Yes. In Notion use /embed and paste the URL from “Open in new tab”. In Google Sites choose Insert → Embed → Embed code and paste the iframe.

Does the timer play a sound when it ends?

It plays a short chime when it reaches zero, as long as the visitor has interacted with the page (browsers block sound before any click). The display also flashes “Time's up!”.
